Hello guys,
I am from Toronto. I am fooling around with HHO over a 2 years now. I see most of you are interested in PWM. I can make a quick adjustable microprocessor based one changing the frequency and the duty cycle. It will drive an specialized IC for power transistors and end transistor for current. I have already done something in this direction. You can take a look on my videos. If someone is interested, please give me a cal at 416-532-3885.

High guys been doing this about a year now have gone from wire system to a smack to drycells single cells to 4 cells, building a 6x6 25 plate 4 cell the layout is -nnnnn+nnnnn-nnnnn+nnnnn- diamond shape.

Wire Gauge summary.
Make sure you are using the correct wire size for your gen! Here is a chart to help. I will post it in the main forum also.
Sorry for the weird formating. The copy/paste from notepad wasn't pretty.

This info in from rec.audio.car FAQ (originally from IASCA handbook). To determine the correct wire size for your application, you should first determine the maximum current flow through the cable (looking at the amplifier's fuse is a relatively simple and conservative way to do this). Then determine the length of the cable that your will use, and consult the following chart:

................Length of run (in feet)
................(0-4)(4-7)(7-10)(10-13)(13-16)(16-19)(19-22)(22-28)

Winterize:
Just found this at http://aquauto.com/content/winterize

"Here is a pretty easy rule of thumb to remember:

8 ounces (1 cup) of denatured alcohol per gallon will protect against freezing down to about 10oF.

16 ounces (two cups or 1 pint) per gallon of water will protect down to 0oF.

24 liquid ounces (3 cups) per gallon will protect down to -15oF.

and, 32 ounces (1 quart) per gallon will protect down to -30oF."

Brampton eh! Nice and close! I work around steeles and dufferin area, but my commute up north is about an hour.
I've built a similar cell like yours. I call it my 'series in a tube' cell. Just trying to figure out what the best electrolyte to use. Going to try some 'safe' stuff first, then if i have too, ill try koh.

I am in Brampton, been messing with this stuff for a while now. Got a pretty good system worked out. Its 3 sets of 4 plates, in a 4" abs pipe, puts out over a liter a minue at 12 amps, and never seems to warm up over 125,,,very good , after dozens of attempts. no electronics, only a 02 extender..have sold and installed quite a few so far, and all is well,,,

Hi Skc, welcome!
I too am researching pwm's. I do believe that electronics are the key to efficiency of these gen's. I will be testing a concentric gen soon just to get my feet wet. If all goes well, ill consider purchasing a pwm to experiment with. I know i will need an efie once i get a gen ready for the road. My first test car will be the wife's '96 vw Golf.

I have a 1996 Intrepid ,smaller V6. I heard newer cars need to modify the oxygen sensor input to compensate for HHO. I think I will be putting it in the trunk with some kind of electrolyte cooler. Researching pulse, I think it is related somehow to resonate harmonic of the electrolyte or SS plates etc.
